Our neon pigments are amazingly non bleed colourfast in cold/hot process soap, melt & pour soap, whipped soap & scrubs, bubble bars, liquid soap & shower gels. They can also be used in a multitude of art and crafts projects.
If your looking for bold non bleed impactful colours, for your professional cosmetic products or crafting projects, then look no further! We have used our neons in the following products :
COLD PROCESS SOAP: all our neon pigments remained colourfast, non bleed and stable after curing. The only one we would have issue with is the Lazuli blue which seems to accelerate trace, but with this mind, experienced soap makers shouldn't find this much of problem if you work fast bearing this in mind.
MELT & POUR SOAP : with a fabulous colour pay off, you can go full neon or pastel depending on your base. For white bases the colours can be subtle but in clear bases you will find high intensity non bleed colours.
BUBBLE BARS : neon pigments in bubble bars create beautiful pastel and brighter shades depending on your use. They gave a strong colourfast colour to the bubble bars, but bear in mind these won't colour the water that's not their intended use.
Other craft projects we have used our neons in :
JESMONITE : Neons gave a bright bold colour payoff with no bleed, ranging from bight intense neon to a lovely pastel hue, depending on the amount of powder pigment added.
WAX : for candle making or wax melts, each neon pigment gave amazing true to colour payoff. Please be aware that inorder to add our neon pigments to wax, it is recommended that you add them to your fragrance/essential oil of choice first, to allow the colour to develop.
ACRYLIC GLOSS GEL MEDIM : gloss gel medium is a fantastic base to add neon pigments to for card making or mixed media. It dries super shiny and when used through a stencil creates fabulous results.
TEXTURE PASTES : we have developed a fantastic d.i.y texture paste formula for you to try with card making or mixed media. Our neon pigments work amazingly well with this base. To make your own visit our blog or watch on our YouTube channel.
Recommended usage of our neon pigments are as follows:
cold/hot process soap @ 1-5%
melt & pour soap @ 1-5%
body lotions & body creams/butters @ 1-5%
hair spray/shampoo/perfume @ 0.1-10%
nail polish/nail uv gel/led gels @ 2-20%
Please follow your own cosmetic safety report (cpsr/assessment) for your own allowed percentages as these usage rates are just a preliminary guide.
Our neon pigments are NOT SUITABLE FOR BATHBOMBS, EYESHADOWS OR LIP PRODUCTS.
