Neon Pigments Pack of 6

In this pack you will receive 6 resealable pouches of the following colours :

CHARTREUSE : bright neon yellow
MARIGOLD : neon orange
PIXIE : neon pink
ULTRA VIOLET : neon purple
LAZULI : neon blue
HARLEQUIN : neon green

Choose the size of packs you require from the drop down menu, we supply 6 x 30g and 6 x 50g reselable pouches.

We have tested our pigments in a variety of different mediums ranging from cosmetics and soap making to arts and crafts such as :

In cosmetics we tested our neon pigments in :

COLD PROCESS SOAP : all gave a non bleed amazing colour after curing. The only one we would have a slight issue with is blue as it tends to accelerate trace, but with this knowledge experienced soap makers shouldn't find this much of a problem if you work fast bearing this in mind.

MELT AND POUR SOAP: fabulous colour pay off with no bleed between colours. Colour fast and true to pigment colour.

BUBBLE BARS : again gave amazing colour pay off with no bleed, strong neon and true to pigment colour. These pigments give a bright and bold colour to your products but won’t colour the water.

The recommended usage of our neon pigments are as follows:

cold process soap @ 1-5% 

melt and pour soap @1-5%

body lotions & body creams/butters @ 1-5% 

hair spray/shampoo/perfume @ 0.1-10% 

nail polish/nail uv/led gels 2-20% 

Please follow your cosmetic assement for your allowed percentages as these usage rates are just a priliminary guide. 

Our neon pigments are NOT SUITABLE IN BATHBOMBS, EYESHADOWS OR LIP PRODUCTS. 

We also tested in jesmonite, clear resin and wax melts, with amazing results again with a strong colour payoff with no fade and true to the pigment colour. See our blog for images. 

WAX : For candle /wax melt making, each neon pigment gave non bleed brilliant results. Please be aware in order to add to wax, firstly add to your fragrance/ esential oil first.

GEL MEDIUM : gloss gel medium took on amazing neon qualitites to create an amazing stencil paste that can be used in card making and mixed media.

TEXTURE PASTE : we created our own texture paste and coloured it with our pigments, with amazing resluts for card making and mixed media. If you would like to make your own texture paste, using our recipe, we have the formula in our blog and on our youtube channel.

CARD MAKING / MIXED MEDIA :  We blended our pigments with white acrylic paint to create custom neon paints for use with stencils to create amazing backgrounds. 

We also have our own formula texture paste that we also added these brilliant pigments and we're not disappointed with the colours, for making backgroudns using stencils. For the recipie please visit our blog or our youtube channel for details on how to make your own.
